Luzerne County Historical Society Presents Haunted History at the Nathan Denison House
Friday and Saturday, October 26 and 27, 2018
The Luzerne County Historical Society will present its popular program, Haunted History: Colonial Superstitions and Folklore, at the Nathan Denison House, 35 Dennison Street, Forty-Fort, on Friday and Saturday, October 26 and 27, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Travel through centuries of superstitions, folklore and mourning customs at the 1790 Nathan Denison House. Our costumed guides will lead you through the house with early American stories about superstition and spooky folklore. Feel a shiver down your spine as you learn about the mysterious death coach and memories from survivors of the Battle of Wyoming. Have your palm read to see what might be in store for you! Flee from the infamous “Headless Horseman.” Step into the kitchen and discover what kind of hocus-pocus is being conjured!
